Michele Denise Vachon

December 17, 1960 — July 19, 2013

MICHELE DENISE VACHON, some knew her as Mimi, some knew her as Michele, her kids knew her as Mom and her grandkids knew her as "Maimes". Michele left this life for her angel wings on Friday, July 19th, 2013. Born December 17, 1960, the second child of Hank Vachon, Sr. and Carol Vachon, who owned and operated H. Vachon Citrus in Fort Pierce.
Born and raised in Fort Pierce, Michele attended St. Anastasia Catholic School and John Carroll through her junior year and then graduated her senior year from Johnson County High School, in Mountain City, TN Class of 1978.
Michele's many life accomplishments include 26+ years with ADT / Tyco Integrated. In recent years, Michele followed her passion and started her photography company, Captured Photography and Design which specializes in "capturing" a memory through photography with a vintage flare. Her oldest daughter, Melody Noelke will carry on her legacy with Captured Photography with the same passion as her mom.
As a native of Ft. Pierce, Michele loved the Treasure Coast and all of the beauty it had to offer which included the beautiful beaches and water that she grew up on. Michele loved to paddle board with her family and would sit on the beach at sunset to feed her soul.
For 26 years, Michele spent it with her partner Tammy Casson. The love they shared with one another and their family was indescribable. They had four children between the two of them that they raised.
Michele was an amazing soul who was known for her loving and giving heart. Michele was always finding the good in all and she touched so many people's lives with kindness and love. She fought her challenges with all her heart. Her greatest challenge was this last year and she fought it with courage, dignity and light. She always knew in her heart she was in God's hands.
Michele's proud family legacy are her two daughters, Melody Noelke and Amanda Young. Tammy's son Joey Casson and daughter Kelly Casson. Their families include Tammy Dowis, David Young, Erin Casson and Sonia Reigh.
The "Sparkles" in her life that she so fondly called them, her grandchildren include: Jonah Noelke, Ellany Young, Joey Casson, Ryan Casson, Tyler Bourn and expecting in September, Elijah Young.
Michele's Siblings include: Rick Vachon, Henry Vachon Jr. and Suzi Vachon. Their families include Edna Vachon and Cindy Kaplus.

A celebration of life will follow at Fort Pierce Yacht Club 700 N. Indian River Drive, Fort Pierce. Casual Attire. Flip flops welcomed at the Celebration of Life. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral Home.

Michele knew one thing for sure that when the day came that she took her last breath, God would find her a new purpose, on the other side.
