Michelle D. Dexheimer, 55, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away at her home May 9, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones.
Michelle was born February 22, 1967 in the Town of Cortlandt, New York to Louis and Carol Boccia. Michelle had her Bachelor of Arts and worked diligently as a Senior Software Engineer in Information Technology.
Michelle was a champion competitive pinball player. She belonged to the IFPA (International Flipper Pinball Association). She was a Pinball Tournament Director. Michelle participated in many tournaments and took home a 3rd place trophy in 2017 at Freeplay FL Sunshine State Woman’s Pinball Tournament; in 2019 she took 1st place at the same tournament. In 2019, she was also the 1st place champion for the B-Division at the Pinball Asylum and 3rd place in 2021 and 2nd place for the Woman’s Division. That same year she took 2nd place at the Shamrock Showdown Woman’s Tournament. In 2018, she took 4th place at the PAPA Tournament. In Jan. 2020, Michelle would place 1st at the Pinball Dude’s Flip Frenzy and again in Feb. 2022. In 2022, she placed 4th at the Sunshine State Showdown.
She will be greatly missed by her parents, Louis and Carol Boccia of Port St. Lucie, Florida; beloved husband Jeff Dexheimer, of Port St. Lucie; sister, Cheryl (Boccia) and brother-in-law, Bill Dirkes of Dayton, KY; father-in-law, Allan Dexheimer and his wife, Pilar, of Cary, NC; brothers -in-law, Greg Dexheimer of Hershey, PA and Jay Dexheimer of Cary, NC; and stepdaughter, Jessica Stokes of Poughkeepsie, NY.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 at the Haisley Funeral Home Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL starting at 3PM with a Memorial Service starting at 4PM.
