Michelle Lynne August- Evans

Michelle Lynne August-Evans, 41, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, March 23 after a 15 month courageous battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.Michelle was born in San Diego, CA, and moved to the Stuart/Port St. Lucie area in 1990. She worked many years as a Certified Pharmacy Technician for Eckerd Drug Stores and Winn Dixie. Most recently she enjoyed working as a Guest Service Representative at Turtle Reef Resort in Jensen Beach.Michelle was a loving and caring person who always put others before herself. She was a very outgoing person and had a great zest for life. Her fun loving and enthusiastic attitude could not help but be contagious to others around her.Michelle is survived by her loving family: devoted husband, Thomas E. Evans, Jr.; parents, Dr. and Mrs. Ronald M. (Lynne) Selness, Alpine, CA; sisters, Valerie Hayet (Mike) El Cajon, CA, Tiffany Hamel (Shayne) Plant City, FL and Tamara Selness; El Cajon, CA; in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Evans, Sr.; Ft. Pierce, FL, sister-in-law, Mary Ricks (Willie); Port St. Lucie, FL and brother-in-law Jim Evans. She also leaves behind Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and dear friends. She will definitely be remembered and greatly missed by everyone whose lives she touched.A gathering will be held on March 31, 2008, at 11AM, at Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service, 3015 Okeechobee Road, Fort Pierce, FL. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at noon. Final resting place will be at White City Cemetery.
