Michelle L. Wheeler

Michelle L. Wheeler, 43, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away peacefully after a long struggle with cancer on August 27, 2023 surrounded by loving family.

Michelle affectionately known by family and friends as Michy or Mikki was born on April 3, 1980 to Lee and Cheryl Wheeler in Azle, TX.  After 20 years together, Michelle married her best friend Jeff O’Neal on April 30, 2022 in Port St. Lucie, FL. 

Michelle graduated from Port St. Lucie High School and then earned her associate degree from Indian River State College. She was a valued employee of Truly Title.

Michelle was full of life and loved a great adventure. Michelle loved being around horses and rode them whenever she could. Michelle enjoyed going to car shows, zoo's, amusement parks, beaches, and comedy clubs. She loved to vacation in Las Vegas. Michelle was also an avid movie watcher. Michelle ran the Treasure Coast Brain Cancer Support Group to help out other patients and caregivers.

Michelle is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Jeff O'Neal of Port St. Lucie, FL; mother, Cheryl Wheeler and sister, Carolyn Wheeler, both of Port St. Lucie, FL; half-brother, Brian and niece, Asha Wheeler, both of TX. She was preceded by her father, Lee Edward Wheeler.

A memorial service will be held on  September 30, 2023 from 1-4pm;  Marriott Hutchinson Island Beach Resort
