Mildred Allen Starcher, 82, died June 21, 2010 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Starcher was born in Mineral Springs, North Carolina and moved to Ft. Pierce 50 years ago.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Ft. Pierce. Over the years, Mildred lead Ladies Bible Study Class and Nursing Home Ministries. She was a devoted choir member and soloist. She lead working women’s Bible Study Classes, organized countless dinners for families and church members. She had God given talents: sewing and cooking for others.
Survivors include her daughters, Bettie Presnell and Judy Odom both of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, Latham “Buddy” Allen, Jr. and wife, Janice and Bobby Allen and wife, Peggy both of Ft. Pierce, FL; stepdaughter, Alice S. Obernovich of Prescott, AZ; brothers, Johnny Hicks, Kent Hicks and Buddy Hicks all of North Carolina; sisters, Bea Coleman and Martha Smith both of North Carolina; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Latham Allen, Sr. & Aubrey Starcher.

Visitation will be Friday, June 25th from 5-7PM at Haisley Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, June 26th at 10AM at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Hillcrest.
