Mildred P. Griffith, 88, died September 25, 2011 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Griffith was born in Mount Airy, North Carolina and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1955.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, member of the Women’s Church Circle and also a member of the choir. She played the piano for the children’s preschool and was also an avid bridge player.
Survivors include her sons, Dan R. Shirley of Boca Raton, FL, Jack L. Griffith of French Camp, MS, and Ron L. Griffith of Ft. Pierce, FL; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981. www.TCHospice.org
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2011 from 9:30-10:30 AM with a service at 10:30 AM at First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
