Minnie Parker, 77, died June 29, 2010 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Parker was born in Willacoochee, Georgia and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1959 coming from Savannah, Georgia.
Prior to retirement, she was an orthopedic nurse and worked at Martin Memorial Hospital for 15 years. After retirement, she worked at Port St. Lucie Convalescent Center.
Survivors include her sons, Robert E. (Viveca) Parker, III, David R. Parker, and John D. (Heather) Parker all of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughter, Joan L. (David) Roberts of Ft. Pierce, FL; 2 granddaughters, Amy Jones and Kelley Smith; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Emmit Wilkerson of Douglas, GA; sisters, Mattie Wilkerson and Mary Wilkerson both of Douglas, GA; sister-in-laws, Esther Wilkerson and Iris P. Bartlett; brother-in-law, Richard Parker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Parker, Jr. and brother, Virgil Wilkerson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, July 2, 2010 from 11:00 am- 1:00 pm with a service to follow at 1:00 pm at Haisley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
