Morris ”Vent” Lindsey
Vent Lindsey, age 77, died on February 9 in Fort Pierce, FL. He was a native and life-long resident of Fort Pierce, FL.
He was an electrician and supervisor for the Fort Pierce Utility Authority for 25 years. He graduated Dan McCarty High School in 1955, was a veteran of the Army National Guard of Florida for 26 years, and was on the Army National Guard of Florida shooting team for 10 years. He was very active with the Fort Pierce Little League, was a deacon at Parkview Baptist Church, where he volunteered with their Food Pantry. He was a Gator fan and he loved to hunt and fish.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years; Glenda Lindsey, his sons; Keith Lindsey and Joe Lindsey; his sister, Mildred C. Lindsey, all of Fort Pierce, FL; and his grandson; Johnnie Lindsey. He was preceded in death by his mother; Jewel Lindsey, his father; Tom Lindsey, and his brother; Merle Lindsey.

Friends may call on Thursday, February 13, from noon – 1PM, at Parkview Baptist Church, a funeral service will be held at the church, at 1PM, with Rev. Robert Barrett officiating. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery. Those unable to attend may sign the on-line guest register at
