Myrtle C. Wagner
Myrtle C. Wagner, age 83, died on May 20th in Fort Pierce, FL. She was born in Shawvers Mill, VA and moved to Fort Pierce in 1956, coming from Durham, NC.
Myrtle was an Operator for Bell South for 13 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Fort Pierce and volunteered in the church office for many years. She was a member of Miriam Circle of the First United Methodist Church, Women Capron Trail Garden Club (Fort Pierce Garden Club) and worked at Mary Reeves Dress Shop (her sister’s shop) as a clerk.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol McKeehan of Bluewell, WV; her son, Adam S. Wagner, Jr. of Harland, VT; her daughter, Gracie Tabone of Bluefield, VA, her son; S. Bruce Wagner of Fort Pierce, FL and daughter, Deborah McFall of Lenoir City, TN; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 616 Orange Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34950.
Friends may call on Monday, May 24th from 1:30 – 2:30 PM at the Haisley Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 2:30 PM. Internment will be in Bluefield, VA.
