Nancy Jane Chiaverini, 84, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away on April 3, 2022.
Nancy was born October 28. 1937 in Yonkers, New York. She graduated from Commerce High School in Yonkers, New York. She also attended the New York State School of Stenography, before going to work for the City of Yonkers Engineering Department. After retiring from the Engineering Department, she went to work for the Marsh and McLennan Company. On May 14, 1967, Nancy married the love of her life, Alfred Chiaverini.
Nancy loved to travel, whether it was with her husband and friends or going on cruises with the Red Hat Ladies. Nancy’s love of life was incomparable. She cherished each and every person in her life. Nancy’s husband, Al, was her best friend, and one of her favorite things was working as his assistant during his magical performances on stage.
Nancy was a member of the Red Hat Society, an avid bowler with the Port St. Lucie Bowling League, a serious golfer with the Savanna Golf Club. She was also a member of the Yonker’s PBA Women’s Association.

She will be greatly missed by her husband, best friend, and travel companion, Alfred Chiaverini of Port St. Lucie, FL; children, Anthony (Kim Torrance) Delango of Pawling, NY, Patricia Chiaverini of Mamaroneck, NY, Colleen Vallee of Poughkeepsie, NY, Joanne (Richard Sr) Blasetti of Port St. Lucie, FL; siblings, James Lusk of West Palm Beach, FL, Rita Viscelli; 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and brother-in-law, Anthony (Ellen) Chiaverini. She is preceded by son, Joe Joe Delango, daughter, Beth Ann Delango; parents, John and Amelia Lusk; siblings, Camille Antoniewski, Conny Nicosia, and Amelia Blanchard-Wittmore.
A memorial gathering will be held Thursday April 21, 2022 from 10AM to 12PMwith a Memorial Service to start at 12PM at Haisley Funeral and Cremation Service Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, Florida 34984.
