Nancy Lee Johnson

November 14, 1946 – August 6, 2024

Nancy L. Johnson, born in Norwood, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully August 6, 2024 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Fort Pierce, Florida after a brief hospitalization and decline in her health. She was surrounded by family and her dear friend Dianne. 

She was a real estate agent during her younger years and then was in retail before retiring. She was a fiercely independent person and lived life on her terms. Nancy also wrote children’s books about the backyard furry friends that came to visit each season to her Cape Cod Home including; squirrels, bunnies, cardinals and her two favorite chipmunks that returned every year with their young ones. 

Nancy was a caring individual who had an unwavering love for her family, friends and especially for her two living dogs, Splash and Rusty as well as Bandit who previously crossed The Rainbow Bridge. She had a very small circle of friends that were angels on earth to her during her later years including: Joan, Dory and Ana. 

She is predeceased by her parents, Robert and Grace Johnson both of North Falmouth, Massachusetts. She is survived by her sister Linda Klimm and brother-in-law Mark of Hyannis, Massachusetts. She has two sons, Robert Cecil and daughter-in-law, Tracey of Marstons Mills, MA and Daniel Cecil of Fort Pierce, FL. She is also survived by her grandchildren, nieces, great-nieces and a great-nephew. Per her wishes, there will be a private ceremony at a later date to be determined.
