Nancy L. Mckeen

Nancy L. McKeen, 77, died peacefully at her condo on Hutchinson Island Florida on September 13, 2016 with family by her side.
Nancy was born on February 24, 1939, in Bath, Maine to Arthur and Dorothy Eseley. She spent her early years in Bath and was a graduate of Morse High School. She would later attend Nursing school in Massachusetts and subsequently earned her credentials as an LPN. She would go on to pursue a nursing career in Brunswick Maine. In 1990 Nancy, along with her husband William, moved to Florida. Because of her love of meeting new people, she chose to work as a food demonstrator at BJs Wholesale Club in Port St. Lucie Florida.
Nancy’s love for her family and those close to her was undeniable. Second to her family was her love of the ocean. This was the first thing she saw in the morning (along with incredible sunrises) and the last thing she saw at night. She appreciated the local wildlife as she would watch off her balcony for sea turtles and “fly by” pelicans every day. Lastly, she enjoyed being with friends and having some cocktails by the pool at her local beach club.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, William N. McKeen. She is survived by her children Mark McMillan, Lois McMillan, Douglas McMillan (and his wife Jennifer), Kevin McMillan (and his wife Tracey). She also leaves behind 10 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren along with numerous other loving family members and friends.
At her request there will be no memorial service.
