Nancy P. McVey – Dec. 14, 1932 – Oct. 24, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy McVey on October 24, 2022. Nancy passed peacefully, surrounded by her family, she was 89. Nancy was born on December 14, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois. She was the daughter of Leonard and Drucilla Polk of Huntington, West Virginia.
In 1952 Nancy graduated from Rollins College with a major in Psychology. It wasn’t until 1964 that she would move back to Florida and settled in Ft. Pierce, where she would remain until her death. Soon after moving to Ft. Pierce, she opened La Petite gift shop in Sable Palm Plaza, (formerly “Sears Town”), where she owned and operated the store for more than twenty-five years.
