Nancy Ann Pettey, 71, died May 20, 2016 at Fort Pierce, Florida.
Nancy was born and raised in St. Lucie County (White City). She was a hostess/waitress in the restaurant industry and worked for Tommy Hawkins & Sons Construction. Nancy always said that the only thing she loved more than her family and close friends was God. She was a member of The Crossings Community Church.
Survivors include her sons, John B. Pettey of Fort Pierce and David B. Pettey of Live Oak, FL; brothers, John David Smith of Vero Beach and Lloyd Smith of Moorsetown, TN; sisters, Ellen Lewis of Killeen, TX and Betty Arnold of Crossville, TN; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Kathryn Smith, father, Emory D. Smith, brother, Robert Earl Smith of Savannah, GA, sister, Patricia (Pat) Powell of Okeechobee, FL and son, 13 week old, Donnie Emory Pettey.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Pierce.
