Mrs. Nancy Lee Van Nus Slavik, age 87, of Melbourne Florida, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021. She was born in Hollywood Florida on August 30, 1934, to Jack and Elizabeth Van Nus. Nancy Slavik was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Nancy was a dedicated teacher for over 40 years; she enjoyed reading, painting traveling, and spending time with her family. Those who will always cherish her memory are her husband, Joe Slavik, son Keith (Sandy) Miller, daughter Valerie Van Nus, stepchildren Joe Slavik and Tricia Slavik, grandchildren Matthew Neal, Alicia Neal, Hollie Miller, Bronte Wilhelm and Colden Wilhelm, great grandchildren Cooper and Harper Grace Boyles, and sister Jo Ann Sargent. Nancy will also be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Nancy Slavik was preceded in death by her brothers, Jack and Don Van Nus and her sister Betty Adkins.
