Nanette “Nan” Clapp, 49, died on June 14, 2016 in Stuart, Florida.
Ms. Clapp was born in Waukegan, Illinois and moved to Fort Pierce in 1974 coming from Michigan. She spent several years living in Atlanta, Georgia.
She was a medical assistant at Hematology /Oncology Associates and prior to that as a medical assistant at St. Lucie County Health Department & Martin County Health Department.
She was a creative, unique and strong woman with a vibrant soul who had so much love to give. She was always open minded and open hearted and accepted everyone as they were. She loved drawing, dancing, music, her children and animals, and going to the beach. She was an ordained minister and married her sister and brother in-law last year. She was a medical assistant and worked at the Martin County Health Department.
Survivors include her daughters, Shaunté (John) Gomez of San Antonio, TX and Mazzy Clapp of Fort Pierce, FL; mother, Kay Robinson of Fort Pierce, FL; father, Larry Clapp of Hawaii; brother, James Clapp of Fort Pierce, FL; sisters, Kim (Sam) Lloyd of Fort Pierce, FL and Rachel (Eddie) Tamez of Fort Pierce, FL; grandson, Sawyer Jaxson Gomez.
Services: Visitation will be held on Monday, June 20, 2016 from 5-6 PM with a service at 6:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Pierce.
