Nanette Scott (Bracken) Madden passed away peacefully on August 12, 2018, after months of declining health.
Nanette grew up in Rockville Center, New York; where she achieved her life-long dream of becoming a Registered Nurse when she graduated from Lenox Hill Hospital School of Nursing in New York City.
She married her husband Bob Madden shortly thereafter, and continued her career until she paused to raise a family. She later resumed her career, spending 15 years working as an RN at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, New Jersey.
After retiring, Bob and Nan moved to Florida, where she enjoyed golf, cruises, gardening, painting and the Florida climate. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir.
She is survived by her husband, Bob and their three children and seven grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, most of all her husband and family.
