Nelson J. Colon, age 62, died on July 21, 2013 in Fort Pierce, FL.
He was born in Salinas, Puerto Rico and moved here in 1952, coming from Puerto Rico.
He was a graduate of the Class of 1969 Dan McCarty High School. He worked for many years in the construction industry as a carpenter, loved fishing and operated his own Palm Tree Nursery.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Stella Colon of Fort Pierce; son, Nelson Colon of Fort Pierce; brother, Jose Colon of Houston, TX; sister, Marcelina Priddy of Fort Pierce; brothers, Ivan Colon of Santa Rosa, CA and Benji Colon of Fort Pierce.
