Nettie Marie Smith

A Time To Be Born:
Nettie Marie Smith was born on September 5, 1941 in Snow Hill, Maryland to the late Ira Thomas Stevenson & Blanche Haywood Stevenson.
A Time To Live:
Nettie was a longtime resident of Fort Pierce coming from Snow Hill, Maryland in the early 60’s. Nettie received her education in the public schools of Worchester County. Nettie was a home maker until, she retired.
A Time To Love:
In 1956 Nettie met the Late Isaac Beckett and with that reunion four loving souls were born. Then in 1973 Nettie meet James Thomas Smith and was later united in marriage on December 26, 1973 until the passing of Nettie.
A Time To Serve:
Nettie accepted Christ at an early age and later reunited with new Mt. Zion missionary Baptist Church in the late 1980’s. Nettie served on the usher board under the leadership of Re. Toby Philpart until her health failed.
A Time To Mourn:
The precious memories shall forever linger in the hearts of a loving husband, James Thomas Smith of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Isaac Stevenson(Marlena) of Fort Pierce, FL, Ira Stevenson(Barbara) of Snow Hill, MD; daughter, Evon Johnson(Harry) of Fort Pierce, FL; 9 grandchildren, Latronida Mclean(David) of Fort Pierce, FL, Stacy Brady (Teddrick) of Fort Pierce, FL, Deyon Wilson(Rick) of Fort Pierce, FL, Elijah Patterson of Fort Pierce, FL, Jessica Stevenson of Fort Pierce, FL, Osborne Stevenson of Fort Pierce, FL, Ira Stevenson of Snow Hill, MD, Sasha, Bricen; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Annie Mae Coces (Thomas) of Snow Hill, MD, Rosie Melbourne of Snow Hill, MD & Alice Stevenson of Snow Hill, MD; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. Nettie was preceded by her parents Ira & Blanch Stevenson; son, Brian Stevenson; brothers, Thomas & Randolph Stevenson.
