Noemis R. Lopez, 88, died May 21, 2014, in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

She was born in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, daughter of Julian Rodriguez and Encarnacion Gonzalez.
A great woman, devoted wife and above all a mother full of wisdom & virtue, intuition, tenderness, humility and self assurance. She never got tired of helping others.
She got married when she was 21 years old to Jaime Lopez and was happily married for 54 years.
She worked as a teacher for 30 years receiving numerous awards and recognitions for her extraordinary accomplishments with her students.
A protective mom with a valient heart, only someone like her could have raised five wonderful daughters, her five princesses, Mayra, Evelyn, Wanda, Ruth and Sandra.
Throughout her whole life she consistantly demonstrated her natural God given talents as a seamstress, a cook and all kinds of arts & crafts.
She always lead by example and let her actions speak for themselves, consistantly demonstrating her perseverance, integrity and tenacity.
She spent her final years traversing firmly and with tenacity the paths laid before her by the living God. Along the way her life lessons allowed her the opportunity to impart advise & wisdom to all of her family.

Survivors include daughters, Myra (Carlos) Aquino of North Palm Beach, FL, Evelyn Lopez , Wanda Lopez, Ruth Lopez/Humberto Torres and Sandra L. (Carl) Durbin all of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandchildren, Carli, Sasha, J.J., Elysandra, Yahaira, Kristian, Fabian, Dominick and Jeremy; great-grandchildren, Jada, Sebastian, Amelia, Josiah and Christian; sister, Ruth Lillian Acevedo of Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. She is preceded in death by her husband Jaime Lopez Lopez, sister, Noelia Rodriguez and brother, Carlos Rodriguez.
