Norbert Sajdera 10/30/1928 to 4/1/2019
Norbert Sajdera was born to Rose and Stanley Sajdera in 1928. He was the oldest of three sons. Norbert was raised in Chicago, a town he truly loved and attended Crane Tech High School. Norbert continued his schooling to study chemical engineering at the Illinois Institute of technology. In1951, Norbert served in the US Army for a short period of time.
Norbert was a pioneer in the field of continuous electroplating. He wrote many articles for both magazines and text books on the subject that are still used today in metallurgy classes world-wide. Norbert was a member of the American Society for testing and materials.
Norbert and his beloved wife Gail moved to Fort Pierce, Florida, where they found many new friends in the church and their community.
Norbert leaves behind his daughter Deb Erickson (James), his biological daughter Virginia Mary Sajdera, his step-daughter Sally Lareau (Don), step-daughter in-law Sandy Vanderzanden, step-son Jim Vanderzanden (Kellie), and step-son Marty Vanderzanden (Connie), 13 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Norbert was preceded in death by his first wife Marcella, second wife Ann, third wife Gail and step-son Wallace Vanderzanden.
