Norma I. Castro, 81, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away on August 16, 2021.
Norma was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on July 19, 1940 to Carlos Almodovar and Julia Muniz.
In 1997, Norma and husband, Jose moved from Bellport, New York to Port St. Lucie, Florida. She worked in administration at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center for almost 10 years. She was a member of both Holy Family Catholic Church and the PSL Hispanic American Club.
She was a loving mother and grandmother; she took great pride in her children’s and grandchildren’s accomplishments. Norma loved dancing, reading, and playing games on her Ipad, like Candy Crush.
Survivors include; loving husband of 60 years, Jose Castro of Port St. Lucie, Florida; sons, Joey (Alice) Castro of Georgia. Michael (Estella) Castro of New York, and Jeffrey (Dawn Marie) Castro of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Brianne Castro, Rachel Castro, Anthony Castro, Michael Castro, Erica Castro, Logan Castro, Amanda Klein, Brianna Fragale, and Chase Castro; as well as 9 great- grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 2PM to 4PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie FL 34984.
