Norma D. Harmon, age 88, died on January 12, in Fort Pierce, FL. She was born in Palestine, WV and moved here in 2002, coming from Charleston, WV.
She was a nurse, completing her nurses training from St. Frances Hospital in 1944, in Charleston, WV. She worked as a private duty nurse and then worked and retired from Charleston Area Medical Center in 1984.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, C. Robert Harmon, Jr. of Fort Pierce, her niece, Ann Redcliff of Fort Pierce, and her sister, Alma Hughes of Huntington, WV.
Memorial Contributions may be made to White City United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 810 West Midway Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34982.
There will be a graveside service on Monday, January 17 at 11 AM, at White City Cemetery, with Rev. George Welch officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service. Those unable to attend may sign the guest register at www.haisleyfuneralhome.com
