Mr. Cook was a life long resident of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and was visiting St. Lucie County.
He worked for Potlatch Forest Paper Company for 29 years in Pittsburgh, owner of N& M Luncheonette for 17 years, and was employed by Pittsburgh National Bank for 10 years. He was a member of the First English Lutheran Church of Sharpsburg.Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Mary Cook of Pittsburgh, PA; daughters, Patricia Cook-Fernandez of Port St. Lucie, FL, Norma Fitzpatrick of Pittsburgh, PA, and Linda Alvarado of Pittsburgh, PA; son, Charles Cook of West Palm Beach, FL; sister, Shirley Mae Cook of Pittsburgh, PA; brother, Edward J. Cook of Ohio; grandchildren, Tracy Economys, Thomas Hayden both of Port St. Lucie, FL, Nancy Hayden of Stuart, FL, Dawn McManus, Shannon Fitzpatrick, Raymond Alvarado all of Pittsburgh, PA, and May Cook of West Palm Beach, FL; and five great-grandchildren.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1401 21st Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
