Ollie Benson Taylor, 79, died January 17, 2006 in Fort Pierce, Florida.Mr. Taylor was born in Red Level, Alabama and moved to Fort Pierce in 1950 coming from Alabama.He grew and packed tomatoes for 40 years. He was a Navy Driver in WWII serving in the Pacific.Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Florence Taylor of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry & Jay Towler of Port St. Lucie, FL and Nancy & William McConkey of Ft. Pierce, FL; grandsons, Joshua (Jennifer) McConkey of Orlando, FL, Marc McConkey of Palm Bay, FL and Joel McConkey of Gainesville, FL; great-grandson, Chase William McConkey; brothers, Byron Taylor of Phoenix City, AL, Johnny Taylor of Guntersville, AL and sister, Brenna Dixon of Stillwater, OK.He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Taylor, brother, James Taylor and sister, Irma Nell Beedy.
