Opal Schwier, 81, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away December 31, 2020.
Opal was born on March 24, 1939 in Dearborn County, Indiana to Samuel and Minta Lewis. She married Harvey Schwier on November 13, 1954 in Dearborn County.
As part of the Treasure Coast Community she was a member of the Elks Lodge #1352 – West Palm Beach. Opal loved bowing, cooking, and camping.
Survivors include loving husband, Harvey Schwier of Port St. Lucie, Florida; sons, Mark (Kathy) Schwier of Okeechobee, Florida and Tim (Cheryl) Schwier of Columbiana, Ohio; daughter, Brenda Cordé of Port St. Lucie, Florida; son, Doug (Kim) Schwier of Titusville, Florida; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brother, J.C. Lewis; sister, Lois Craft; brother, Frank Lewis; sister, Wanda Hebel; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; Sam Lewis and Minta Russell Lewis; brother, Elmer Lewis; sisters, Juanita Lewis, and Loretta Vogel; brother, Bob Lewis; sister, Jean Deaton; children, Harvey Jr, and Teresa Schwier, and son-in-law, Michael Cordé.
Family will hold a private Celebration of Life.
