Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Ramdai “Tinmin” Somwaru of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughters, Leila (Shabeer Baksh) of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Celia Samaroo (Bapi Roopchand) of Guyana; sons, Deodat Ramesh (Shobha) Samaroo of Port St. Lucie, FL, Brian Chubby (Maria) Samaroo of Guyana, and Ravi K. (Elizabeth) Samaroo of New Jersey; sisters, Celia, Anjani, and Kamala; brothers, Bhim, Gobin, and Paro; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
