Otton Enrique Cruz Yepez, 90 passed away peacefully at home on March 14, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.
Otton was born in Guayaquil Ecuador on July 2, 1929. He immigrated to New York City in 1962, where he made a wonderful life for his wife and children.
Otton was a generous and loving man who dedicated himself to his family and Catholic faith. He was also a great friend, organizing socials, outings, fundraisers and trips with his Vicente Rocafuerte buddies and wives. His love of life shined and was contagious to all who knew him.
Otton is survived by his soul mate and wife of 65 years, Graciela Romero Cruz; his children: Otton Jr and wife Ivonne, Debbie Fata and husband Jim, Paul and wife Judy; six grandchildren, Christine Fata, James Fata, Kyle Cruz, Paul Cruz, Kayla Cruz and Elizabeth Fata; brothers in law Manuel and Arturo Romero.
He is predeceased by his parents, Cesar and Raquel Cruz; and parents in law Rodolfo and Omaira Romero.
Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00am on Friday March 20 at Haisley Tribute Center, 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd., Port St Lucie, FL 34984. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 930 SW Tunis Ave., Port St Lucie, FL.
