Pam Stephenson of Fort Pierce Florida 02/14/1941 – 07/01/2023
Pam was an accomplished newspaper publisher, seamstress, avid horsewoman, and a devoted and passionate animal lover. Pam was involved with and on the board of many animal advocate organizations including President of United for Animals and a Board member of the Humane Society of SLC. She fought for and changed animal rights and gave a loving forever home to many retired racing Greyhounds. When not saving animals, she tended to her 100’s of orchids.
Preceded by husband Larry Stephenson, parents Dick and Irene Banks, and niece Lesley Miserendino.
Pam is survived by her daughters: Elizabeth Roggin, Lynne Zaklin, and Tracey (Tim) Dawson; three stepsons: Mike (Jennifer) Stephenson, Brett (Lisa) Stephenson and Jon Stephenson; a grandson, Zachary (Caitlin) Roggin; 12 step grandchildren: two-great grandchildren: Chloe Roggin and Aubrey Roggin; two sisters Patricia Miserendino and Penelope Garibaldi and nieces and nephew.
She deeply loved her family and friends. Especially Kathy McClure and Sharon Hultquist.
Memorial contributions may be made to any animal rescue organization of your choice.
A graveside service will be held at White City Cemetery on July 8, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Celebration of life immediately following at On the Edge Bar & Grill from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. Arrangements are being handled by Haisley Funeral Services Fort Pierce, Florida.
