Pamela "Pam" June Caimi

Pamela June Caimi, aged 68, of Vero Beach passed away on the afternoon of Saturday, May 6^th 2023.

Pam was born on January 28^th, 1955 in Cleveland, Ohio to Martin and June (Lawrence) Luther. She is survived by her brother Martin “Marty” Luther Jr, sister Debbie (Luther) Davis, spouse Frank Caimi, her two children, Brian Caimi and Leanna (Caimi) Edwards, son in law Brooks and her two grandchildren, Wesley and Briggs Edwards.

She graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology & Economics and Indian River Community College with an Associate of Science in Computer Science. Pam married, had two children, Brian and Leanna, and resided in Vero Beach, Florida since 1982. Pam worked as a Computer Programming professional for many years at Indian River State College until her retirement in February of 2020. While living in Vero Beach, Pam touched many lives while a member of her church, where she was an avid puppeteer and supported her friends during the ups and downs of life. During the COVID 19 pandemic, Pam sponsored weekly walks at the JC Park boardwalk and helped to organize zoom calls to keep her friends connected. She also was an expert swimmer, enjoyed kayaking, and sharing stories about her young grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10AM on June 3^rd, 2023 at Community United Methodist Church, 3114 Okeechobee Rd, Fort Pierce Fl, 34947.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pam’s honor to the Humane Society of Vero Beach & Indian River County.
