She was a waitress in a local restaurant and loved singing and going to the beach.
Survivors include her sons Robert Mathis of Ft. Pierce, FL and Angel Hernandez of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter Kimberly Mathis of Port St. Lucie, FL; sister Sandra Pilgrim of South Carolina; brother Tommy Mote of South Carolina; and 1 grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Mathis.
