Patricia Ann "Patti" Hoeffner

Patricia A. "Patti" Hoeffner, 72 passed away peacefully in her home on  September 11, 2023, in Fernandina Beach, Florida. 

Patti was born in Bath, New York to Bernard Hoeffner and Margaret Robinson Hoeffner.  She was raised in  Fort Pierce and graduated from John Carroll Catholic High School.   She worked at Butterfields Drug Store and Sun Bank, before attending Barry University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in professional services. After graduation she pursued a successful career in real estate and used that experience to become a property appraiser for Nassau County Property Appraiser’s Office. 

In retirement, she enjoyed gardening, her cats, the community, and cheering for the Florida Gators and Jacksonville Jaguars. Patti was very involved at St. Michael's Catholic Church, where she served as an usher and was a Team Leader in the Parish’s Interfaith Dinner Network (IDN),  a program where volunteers throughout the Christian Community volunteer to feed the underserved in the community.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law ,Thomas and Barbara Hoeffner of Ft. Pierce, Fl , brother ,Father Robert Hoeffner of Palm Bay, Fl., brother, William Hoeffner of Gaffney, SC., sister ,Sally Hoeffner of Palm Bay, Fl., sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Terry Trundle of Acworth, Ga., brother and sister-in -law, Gerry and Mendi Hoeffner of Lakeland, Fl., sister, Lisa Hoeffner of Barefoot Bay, Fl.  Several nephews and nieces and several great nephews and nieces.

Predeceased in death : father, Bernard and  mother, Margaret Hoeffner of Ft. Pierce, Fl., and sister -in-law, Carol Hoeffner, wife of brother William Hoeffner.

Services: There will be a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, October 3,2023 at 10:00 AM at Saint Bernadettes Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, Fl. A burial will follow at White City Cemetery. A Mass will also be celebrated on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 8:30 AM at St Michael Catholic Church in Fernandina Beach, Florida.  Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral and Cremation Services.
