Mrs. Newkirk was born on November 4, 1944 in Canastota, New York. Patricia moved to Fort Pierce, Florida 28 years ago coming from Syracuse, New York.
Patricia was a wonderful mother, and always put her children first.
She loved her plants; she grew tomatoes and worked with hydroponics. She became affectionately known as “the Plant Lady” by the people who loved her.
Survivors include; husband, Raymond Newkirk; daughter, Christine Smith of Fort Pierce, Florida; son, Stephen Smith; grandchildren, Susan Smith of Fort Pierce, Florida, Anthony
Midnight, Vinny Midnight, Mrya Addison, and RJ Motts; siblings, Dawn Philo Church, Jenny Conrad, Ann Ebby, and Mark Philo. She was predeceased by her son, Stuart Smith.
