Mr. Egers was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.
He was a commercial fisherman. He enjoyed riding his lawnmower in the neighborhood and he attended St. Anastasia Catholic Church.
Survivors include his daughters, Amber (Chad) Spriggs of Lakeland, FL and Ashley Mathews of Lake Wales, FL; mother, Lanette Egers of Fort Pierce, FL; 8 sisters; 2 brothers and 5 grandchildren, Cassidy Mathews, Savannah Mathews, Daniel Sheetz, Ryan Spriggs, and Tyler Sheetz. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward J. Egers.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, Fort Pierce.
