Paul Taylor Beaver, Sr., age 92, of Fort Pierce, FL went home to be with the Lord on November 1, 2017. Paul Taylor was born in Stoneville, NC on October 21, 1925 to the late Jesse Lee and Lillian M. (Adkins) Beaver. He was a resident of Fort Pierce, FL since 1956.
Paul retired in 1987 from his business, Beaver Pump Repairs in Fort Pierce, as a gasoline pump mechanic. Over the years, he loved spending time with his family, fishing, camping, playing the guitar, listening to country and bluegrass music, and his CB radios.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Rose C. (Griffin) Beaver, his son, Lawrence (Larry) Beaver, half-brother, Francis Hill Saunders, brothers, James Elwood Beaver and Thomas E. Beaver, sister, Ethel Lee Smothers. He is survived by sons, Ronnie (Johnette) Beaver of Fort Pierce, FL, Paul “Scooter” Beaver, Jr. of South Daytona, FL, Michael (Becky) Beaver of Fort Pierce, FL, and daughters, Donna (Buddy) Carpenter of Parrish, FL, Anita (Ford) Sloan of Fort Pierce, FL, Linda (Stephen) Short of Vero Beach, FL; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister, Hallie Mae Hotler of Madison, NC.
Services: Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 1-2 PM with a service to follow at 2:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce, FL. Burial will take place at Trent Cemetery, Stoneville, NC.
Out of town services: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 1-2 PM at Ray Funeral Home, Madison, NC. A graveside service will take place at 3:00 PM at Trent Cemetery, Stoneville, NC.
