Paul Morton Frischkorn Jr. passed away July 9th in Ft. Pierce. He was born Sept. 5, 1943 to Molly & Paul Frischkorn Sr., in Detroit, Michigan. Paul graduated from Redford Union High School where he excelled as a swimmer and runner. After a successful career at Aetna Life Insurance Company, Paul worked with his father at Frischkorn Realty in Detroit.
Paul served in the Air Reserve National Guard of the United States Air Force at Selfridge Air Force Base located in Harrison Township, Michigan and was very proud of his service to his country.
In 1970 he bought a 400 sq. ft. cottage on Middle Straights Lake in West Bloomfield and transformed it into a beautiful 3-story 2,800 sq. ft. house on the lake.
He excelled as a contractor on both residential and commercial buildings. One of his proudest accomplishments was building a lake home with an indoor waterfall cascading through its 3 stories.
Paul married Carrol Stefano Frischkorn in 1977 and they moved to Florida in 1979 where Paul continued in the building business in Ft. Pierce.
Paul loved animals and will be greatly missed by Pinky, Scampy, Ester and Lacey. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, boating, traveling and forcing everyone to watch his travel videos again and again and again! He is also revered in the fashion industry for making day pants and slipper shoes trendy.
He is predeceased in death by his sister Penelope Ann Frischkorn and survived by his wife Carrol, brother Carl Melzer (Kim), nephew Michael Biegel, niece Lisa Dyne (Michael), sister-in-law Lorraine Stefano, nephew Jonathon Gold and many other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or The Animal Rescue Charity of your choice.
At the Pelican Yacht Club, the family will be receiving friends on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 10-11 AM with a celebration of life to follow at 11:00 AM.
