Paul L. Thompson, 87, died February 25, 2010, in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Paul was born in Sanford, Florida, and was a resident of Fort Pierce for more than 53 years, coming from the surrounding lake area.
He was the owner-operator of a grading service, was a member and Past Master of the Fort Pierce Masonic Lodge #87, proudly served in the United States Army, was a member of the American Legion, Post 40 and was an avid fisherman and traveler.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Susie C. Thompson of Fort Pierce; sons, Chris Welch of Grant, FL, Philip Chandler of Penrose, NC, Hank Thompson and Bobby Thompson both of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, Terry Peterson of Melbourne, FL; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother, Leon Thompson.
Visiation will be Thursday, March 4th from 1 to 2:00 PM, followed by a Service at 2:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel.
