Paul Preston Nunn

February 16, 1936-October 5, 2024

Paul Nunn, born February 16, 1936, in Fort Pierce, FL, died early morning on Saturday Oct. 5, 2024, surrounded by loving family, to return to his beloved Savior, Jesus Christ. He was blessed to live a long, full life that left us many wonderful memories. He will be profoundly missed.

Paul was preceded in death by his first-born son, Charles Nunn. He leaves behind his loving wife, Theresa, five children; Timothy Nunn (Donna), Susan Nunn, Jeffrey Nunn, Sherrie Nunn, and Cynthia Nunn, as well as four grandchildren; Justin Harnage (Shyanne), Alyssa Jones (Macon), Blake Harnage, and Ashlynn Nunn, as well as four great-grandchildren.

At the age of 16, Paul headed north with a friend on the promise of a job in Ohio. He was working in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania when he met Theresa Ferari, starting a love a􀆯air that lasted 65 years. After working in several locations in the northeast, Paul relocated his young family to his hometown of Fort Pierce.

Dad was a self-made man- independent from an early age, who became a successful businessman in the construction and commercial real estate industries. He was an avid fisherman and golfer, and an accomplished chili cook and was blessed with many great friends. A devout Catholic, he was a member of Saint Mark’s Catholic Church in Fort Pierce for more than 50 years.

Goodbye Dad, and thanks for all that you were to everyone. You were the best man we ever knew.
