Paulette Armstrong “Mema” 79, of Port Saint Lucie, born October 24, 1943 in New York, NY, was called home on March 9th, 2023 after a brief illness. A Graduate of Bergenfield High School (Bergenfield, NJ) in 1961, she relocated to South Florida in 1964 with her Husband, Richard, and two Daughters.
A friend to all people, lover of animals, peanut butter & pina coladas, beloved caretaker, Mom, & Grandmother, she was the true definition of unconditional love and acceptance, and served the community with her kindness - even up until her final months. After a lifelong career in Nursing, she leaves behind a legacy of empathy and grace, and has left a permanent mark on the lives of the many families she has come to aid during times of difficult loss. She spent the last 16 years of her career as a Caregiver at The Gardens, Port Saint Lucie.
She is survived by her children, Patty (Barry) Jones, Deborah Armstrong, Richard Armstrong, & Robert (Lori) Armstrong.
Her Grandchildren, Nicole (Jeremy) LaBianca, Meagan (Lasaun) Davis, Stephanie Jenkins, Ashlie Armstrong, & Matthew Armstrong, & 7 Great Grandchildren - Dylan, Gabriella, Anthony, Vincent, Preston, Aayden, & Mia.
She was predeceased by her parents, Richard Perennes "Grandpy" & Carmen Viennet, and Husband, Richard Armstrong "Pepa" (2006).

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 5PM to 7PM with a Memorial Service to start at 5:30PM at the Haisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984.
