Mrs. Matthews was born in Blackshear, Georgia and moved to Port St. Lucie 2 years ago from Brunswick, Georgia.
She will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her daughters, Lori Karakra of Port St. Lucie, FL and Dana Matthews of Waycross, GA; sisters, Sheila Beaver of Waynesville, GA, Teresa Rowe of Townsend, GA, Pam Harden of Brunswick, GA and Libby O’Berry of Brunswick, GA; brother, Arthur Del O’Berry, Jr. of Dublin, GA; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Tracy Lamarr O’Berry and brother, Gary Del O’Berry.
Services: A service will be held in Georgia under the direction of Howard, Jones & Nobel Funeral Home, Jesup, Georgia.
