Mrs. Yates was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1998 coming from Pompano Beach, Florida.
She enjoyed music, dancing, traveling, and making greeting cards.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Bobby Yates of Ft. Pierce, FL; brothers, Alan Kissane of Denver, CO and Tim Kissane of Ft. Pierce, FL.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetic Association, 1101 North Lake Destiny Road #415, Maitland, FL 32751.
Services: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 11:00 AM, at Spanish Lakes Fairways Clubhouse, Fort Pierce, FL.
