Penny Zakos

Penny Zakos, 79, died September 9, 2007 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.Mrs. Zakos was born in Rodohori Kozanis, Greece and resided in Ft. Pierce, Florida coming from Massachusetts and New Hampshire.She was a seamstress.Survivors include her sisters, Fotini (Frances) Psilekaris of Massachusetts and Soultana Daravingas of Salonica, Greece; sister-in-law, Roula Dayos of Salonica, Greece; stepchildren, Bryan Zakos, Jim Zakos, Pam Signorelli, Patricia McClain; six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Zack Zakos and brothers, John and Kostas Dayos of Greece.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 2525 South 25th Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34982.Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, September 14, 2007 from 5-7 PM with a Trisagion Service at 7:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 10:00 AM at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
