Percy William Smith, Jr., 81, died March 12, 2011 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Smith was born in Hartsville, South Carolina and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1973 coming from Charlotte, North Carolina.
He was retired from P&D Auto Parts after 22 years. He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church and a member of the Pineapple Play House Community Theater.
Survivors include his son, Michael D. Smith of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Pam Smith Rudd of Vero Beach, FL; sister, Edna Sullivan of Ft. Worth, TX; 4 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Faye Smith, son, Stephen Smith and daughter, Eleta Diane Procino.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, March 18, 2011 from 6-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Faith Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
