Peter Schales, 85, passed away on June 10, 2023 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mr. Schales was born on December 20, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York and resided in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Peter was the owner/operator of Motor Oil City, Wix Filters.  Later in life, he worked with the disabled at the A.R.C. of St. Lucie County.  He was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church. He loved music and dancing and playing cards, especially Pinochle. 

Survivors include his sons, Anthony Schales of Port St. Lucie, FL and Steven Schales of Fort Lauderdale, FL and daughter, Susanne Hunter of Abbeville, SC. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Schales and daughter, Vicki Schales.
