Phil E. Cobb

Phil E. Cobb, 76, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away December 31, 2022.

Phil was born August 19, 1946, to William “Buddy” and Margaret Louise Cobb in Huntsville, Alabama. He graduated from Hazel Green High School in Hazel Green, Alabama, and attended Snead Junior College in Boaz, Alabama, before continuing his education at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama, and South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota.

Phil married the love of his life, Sybil, on March 17, 1973, in Apalachicola, FL. Together they would raise two children. Phil was the owner and operator of The Pestop in Port St. Lucie, FL, since 1995.

Family was everything to Phil. He will be greatly missed by his beautiful wife of almost 50 years, Sybil; son, Justin Cobb and his wife Corrie of Chuluota, FL; their children, Emily, Rachel, and Jacob Cobb; daughter, Amber, and her husband Osvaldo Vazquez of Falls Church, VA, and their children, Eleanor and Oscar. He is also survived by his sisters, Sandra Plunkett and Mary Lee Green, both of Tennessee. He was predeceased by his parents William “Buddy” Cobb and Margaret Louise Cobb.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, from 5PM to 7PM at the Haisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services Tribute Center, 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34984.
