Mrs. Carpenter was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1962 coming from Michigan.She was a homemaker.Survivors include her son, Harry Swift of Ft. Pierce; daughters Beverly Shott of Ft. Pierce, Ruthanne Monk and Toni McNabb both of Madisonville, TN; 12 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
