R. Kathryn Moss (she would kill us if we put what the R stood for), 63, a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, FL went out as a cancer fighting champion on January 25th, 2022. She left a huge hole in the hearts of many who she touched with her love and kindness.
Kathy was born May 15,1958 to Glenn Boyd and Mary Boyd in Fort Pierce. A graduate of John Carrol High School she then went on to spend over thirty years in the medical field going from OBGYN to pediatrics as an office manager. She was a favorite of all her patients as she constantly went above and beyond to make sure everyone was always taken care of.
She was a strong and loving woman, always having fun, and making friends whom she considered family along the way. Her kids and husband meant the world to her but being a grandmother was what she lived for. The ocean was a passion and she loved being out on the water whether it was the beach, a boat, or her favorite local hangouts. She loved being out with friends and wouldn’t hesitate to jump out on a dance floor. If you met her once she remembered, you and you were automatically a friend and there is a good chance you did not forget her either.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Felix; daughter, Mandy, her husband Travis; son, David; son, Clayton, his wife Ashley; mother, Mary; brothers, Steve and Glenn; sister, Cindy, her husband Larry; and grandkids, Carson & Austin, Mallarie & Macie. She is preceded in death by father, Glenn Boyd; father, Reed Knight; brother, Michael and grandson, Connor.
The celebration of life will be 02/12/2022 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Little Jim Bait & Tackle, Fort Pierce.
