Rafael Baez, 75, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away November 17, 2020 peacefully.
Rafael was born in Puerto Rico on October 26, 1945 to Pedro and Esmeralda Baez. He married Gladys Suarez on April 27, 1968.
After graduating High School, Rafael joined the United States Army. When he left the Army, he became a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service; working in Grand Central Station; Miami, FL; Vero Beach, FL; and finally Port Saint Lucie, FL. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus 4th degree and an avid poker player.
Survivors include beloved wife of 52 years, Gladys Baez; daughters, Yvette, Yvonne, and Melissa; grandchildren, Alex, Zackary, Victoria and great-grandchild, Angelo Rafael. He was predeceased by his parents, Pedro and Esmeralda.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 2Pm to 5Pm with a Prayer Service at 5PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port Saint Lucie, FL 34984. Mass will take place at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church 350 NW California Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34986 on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 10AM.
