Ray Lopes

Ray Lopes, 73, died February 26, 2007 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mr. Lopes was born in Erie, Pennsylvania and moved to Ft. Pierce 63 years ago coming from Erie, PA.He worked for the US Postal Service for 17 years. Previously he was associated with Ft. Pierce Auto Top & Upholstery in Ft. Pierce for 25 years, Deacon of Westside Baptist Church and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korea Conflict.Survivors include his wife of 48 years Janet Lopes of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Cheryl Ann McLean of Port St. Lucie, FL, Jeanne and Randy Burwell of New Brockton, AL, Joye and Ed Rinaldo of Ft. Pierce, FL, Judi and Tim Murphy of Ft. Drum, FL; brothers, John Lopes of Sebastian, FL and Bill Lopes of Franklin, NC; sisters, Marion Matthews of Ft. Pierce, FL and Janet Felix of Ft. Pierce, FL, grandchildren Jason McLean, Nicole Tucker, Russell Burwell and Jonnie Ritten; and 2 great-grandchildren, Alivia and Ian Tucker. He was preceded in death by his sister JoAnn Breese.
