Ray W. Mckenzie

Ray W. McKenzie, 90, died March 14, 2016 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. McKenzie was born in Moore Haven, Florida and moved to Fort Pierce in 1936.
He was the market manager of A & P and Winn-Dixie, owner of Mac’s Market in Jensen Beach, and then worked for Lake Manor Trailer Park until retirement. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was very active member & volunteered at Liberty Baptist Church. He loved his lawn, gardening, yard work and orchids.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy L. McKenzie of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Ronald W. McKenzie of Jensen Beach, FL; daughter, Shirley A. Milton of Hobe Sound, FL; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Jane Smith of Fort Pierce and Doris Craig of Virginia; and brother, Stafford McKenzie of North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert McKenzie, Carl McKenzie and Moran McKenzie.
Memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Baptist Church, 3660 West Midway Road, Fort Pierce FL 34981.
Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 12:00-1:00 PM with a service to follow at 1:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
